The cynic in me wonders how many of those 20,000 kids who have no interest in theater will scalp their tickets. Matinee goers should think about checking stubhub etc.

I would imagine that most (all?) of these would be organized field trips, with the tickets being handled by the schools/chaperones. It doesn't seem likely to me that they'd just hand tickets to 20,000 individual students.

17,000 of those tickets are for student only matinees.
