Question Hamilton in Tony Awards: best score and book

Posted by: Kaoru 05:13 pm EDT 10/28/15

Spent 4 great days in NYC and saw Hamilton twice because I won the lottery! ( I was with a friend who knew nothing about the show expect the tickets are hard to get, so I had to give her a Cliff Note version of the show before seeing it). I know some people like to see a show cold, but I was afraid if I can catch the rap lyrics so I listened to the cast recording (ended up obsessed) prior to seeing it, which I'm glad I did.

My question is since this show is sung through and the score is the book (very little dialogue that didn't get in the recording), how the nomination committee will distinguish the score and the book? I know it's based on the book about A.Ham, so will they consider how the story was structured and dramatized? I think it's a little different from Les Mis which is another sung thru show as Les Mis is an adaptation of Hugo's book. Thanks!

While I'm talking about Tony Awards, will Leslie Odom Jr be submitted to be considered as lead actor rather than featured?
