One line toward the end may lead you to CONSIDER whether the action is taking place on the same day?

I think the entire play seems to have gone over your head. It completely rests on the surprise that happens when the older couple says "McSorley's" and you (should) discover that the younger couple are the same people. I feel you missed the entire ending and, basically, the whole play.

(And why would you include that spoiler in your posting in the first place? Very odd.
