"An American in Paris" filmed for Lincoln Center archives...

Posted by: Michaels 08:25 am EDT 10/29/15

Tuesday night...Actually, they had to switch my seats since cameras needed N 2-6....It was a particularly exciting performance, possibly because the cast knew of the filming. Robert Fairchild was extraordinary as always, but Leanne Cope seems to have gotten more beautiful and wonderful...she was ebullient and really thrilling to watch...her joy in performance was very obvious. It will be difficult to impossible to replace these two leads. I was very glad to be there (6th visit).
