LYRIC THEATRE, an 18-year old, 3-story Broadway Theatre complex and rehearsal studio in the heart of Times Square, seeks Full and Part-Time FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF for the upcoming production of “Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games.”
Front of House Staff positions include:
• CONCESSION SERVICE EMPLOYEES & BARTENDERS
Primary responsibilities include: provide excellent customer service, ensure public safety for all attending patrons, uphold and enforce the theatre’s policies & procedures and acquire working knowledge and practice of emergency procedures; additional duties as assigned by Theatre’s management team. Other duties may include, but are not limited to: preparing and selling food & beverages; handling cash and credit card payments; stocking and upkeep of bar areas.
Qualified candidates will have prior customer service experience, preferably in the service and/or theatre industry, with good interpersonal relations and communication skills. Must possess a positive attitude, be flexible, friendly and courteous with patrons and fellow staff members and be a team player. Valid food handler certification is preferred but not necessary for bartender candidates.
Please note that this is a union position. Hired employees will be required to join the Local 306 union (after a probationary period) if they are not already a member.
