Actually it's much better than that. Its based on a Eudora Welty novelette and has some sassy Southern charm. Needs a strong leading man, Barry Bostwick won the Tony for the role and I'm sure Steven Pasquale will deliver the goods. I think it even got nominated for Best Musical in a not overly strong season, but I don't have time to research it right now. I give the show a B or B+ in a good production. I for one would love to see this production.
