His new plays may not be getting critical acclaim, but they make money. His new plays over the past decade are November (recouped), Race(recouped), The Anarchist (did not recoup), and China Doll, which may well recoup regardless of its critical merit. During that time, he's had several revivals, with Glengarry Glen Ross and Speed-the-Plow making money.

From an investor point of view, he's a pretty good investment.
