At the very end, after he puts the crown on William he walks upstage. Her dress blocked my view and I could not see what he was doing. He did not return to the back line. Can someone describe?

If I remember this moment correctly (big if), he sinks to the floor at the top of the platform, looking very crumbled and defeated.
