can I mention please how much I loved ALLEGIANCE? I wasn't sitting with my friend and when act 1 ended we locked eyes on the way to buying souvenirs and both just burst into tears. I tried to cover with nervous laughter but that never works. Moments like this are what makes theater so special. I'm completely destroyed by this show, from the subject matter, to the lush score and voices, to the delicate and fine acting, the intensely appropriate choreography that supplied both ethnicity and broadway showmanship, the perfect design and lighting. Every cast member is spot on and at one point I caught myself thinking of Mr. Takei as the little facebook elf and laughed again. HE WAS FABULOUS. All were fabulous. thank you for this gift.
