Just saw this wonderful new play-had seen Stephen Karam's other two plays at Roundabout, but even as good as they were, was not prepared for how brilliant this was-reminded me so much of Long Day's Journey-another Irish Catholic family about to fall apart-Joe Mantello's direction is seamless and that set! David Zinn should certainly win a Tony when it moves to Broadway-the acting was sublime-not one false step by any of the six amazing actors-I have to single out Jayne Houdyshell however, since I have NEVER seen her better-and that's saying a lot! I got my ticket a few weeks ago for only $49-a sign on the door says all tickets now $99- but this play is worth it at any price-can't wait to see it on Broadway!
