I am as besotted as anyone on this board. But I don't believe most of the numbers cut well in parade terms, i.e. on that bizarre insignia on the pavement in front of Macy's. Though a truncated "Room Where it Happens" might work, the number out of context makes no easy sense, and it's just too long for the parade. The rap material, brilliant, isn't easy in lip-sync. More critically: why would they want to do anything that might damage the integrity of the piece? They don't need the parade, and the show isn't an easy fit. Wise decision.
