Why not just enjoy that a musical theatre person is having mainstream success for the first time in ages?

Incidentally, have a look at the other annotations. It's a fairly wide-ranging bunch of modern performers who get them, it's not a uniquely Miranda phenomenon.

Or alternatively, you can much on the sour grapes a bit more.
