Interesting. But both of the examples I gave, WEST SIDE STORY and GUYS AND DOLLS, are great shows. If people who don't like musicals in general say they like WSS because they think it's "cool," or say they like GUYS AND DOLLS because it's so funny, I think that's valid. And, as I said, I'm pretty sure there are other shows they'd like if they were exposed to them and gave them a chance.
