This happens in New York too. I have seen a low-level critic (who happens to post here under her own first name) standing outside the theatre trying to sell her extra ticket.

I'm not sure what you mean by "low level" but not all web reviewers are comped.

This one was, and I don't mean to turn it into a discussion of that person. Only to say I have seen a reviewer outside the theatre trying to sell her comped ticket.
