Please don't call me "disingenuous." Of course, I didn't mean that Feinstein "lent" his name to this club or the one at the Regency with no financial arrangement. But as for him being "nicely compensated" for doing so, if you're implying that he is being paid simply for letting 54 Below use his name, I very much doubt that's true. I think it's probably much more complicated than that. "Now how can he say prices won't rise when you clearly state he didn't set prices?" Because, although he does not manage the room and does not set prices, he may have had a discussion before -- or after -- becoming involved at 54 Below in which it was determined that prices will not rise, hence his quote. Those are two different scenarios. Also, 54 Below is a very different place from the club at Loews Regency in several ways. Whatever, your fear or assumption that prices at 54 Below will rise significantly just because Feinstein is now involved seems odd to me, and I'm not sure you have as clear an idea of how these clubs/deals work as you think you do.
