War is terrible--period. But I don't think it should be considered forbidden to dramatize. The real criteria in my mind is whether it treats the subject and losses with respect and dignity. Come from away does that by not diminishing the suffering in ny and dc, but showing the heroes across the globe coping with a tragedy. Yes, these townspeople didn't put their life in the line like the firefighters and cops at ground zero, but they did come to the aid of those in need instead of just closing their doors and saying it's not my problem. It's a wonderful piece of theater that some may not want to see because 9/11 is too close to their personal lives, but I don't think it should be dismissed at commercializing a tragedy to make money.
