It's a long, creaky play if they're doing the full 6 hour version. Ivo did a production that managed to pull off the whole thing in about 3 hours (in Dutch). They spoke real fast, they greatly collapsed the scene on the boat in the second play, and I'm sure there were cuts galore as well.

Of course, Robert Falls managed to get through all of "Desire under the Elms" (for which the elms were replaced by rocks) in about an hour and a half without much (if any) cutting, so it may just be a matter of pace.
