Me, too, schauspieler. This was quite a strong four-hander. Perhaps not the same kind of major themes as in the Crucible or All My Sons, but a quiet, and ultimately satisfying kind of work that delves into identity and relationships, especially in a good ensemble, which in my opinion, this was. Ruffalo and Hecht, especially in the closing moments, touched me deeply.
Now compare that to the four-hander (of sorts) I saw this week: The Penitent. Never again. I will never again give a moment of my time to a new Mamet play.
