I thought this production was amazing and frankly unmissable. (Perhaps this show was always great and just needed to marinate with time.) The pathos and comedy were seamlessly integrated into a fractured and theatrical telling of American history -- surprising that this was the director's first musical. Moving and intelligent. What a cast.
