I was there last night too. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it so much but boy, did I see a different production. I had never seen SKIN OF OUR TEETH on stage before, only read it, so I was very excited to see this production and to visit the new theatre in Brooklyn.

My companion and I contemplated leaving at intermission because we both found it so excruciating. To be more specific, he found it boring and confusing and I found it unbelievably pretentious - the production not the play. The actress playing Sabina didn't reside me so much of Lucille Ball as Jennifer Tilly. The actor playing George was the only one I found even remotely doing Wilder's play.

I have no other production to compare it to but only have memories of reading it. Odd to me how someone got that production from the pages of the script. I regretted missing the production in Central Park several years back and I hope that we'll see another high-profile production sometime in this generation. Just my two cents.
