|The Freedom From Religion Foundation is a nonprofit that advocates the separation between church and state. It argues that a public high school that's producing a show based on biblical themes violates the 1st Amendment (in that government should not favor one religion over another ... or no religion). ... Anyway, the school's ''Children of Eden'' was scheduled to run March 9-12, and the linked article is dated March 8. It seems like a protest (if any) should've been launched much earlier. This seems like old news (unless anyone has an update).
I wonder if the Foundation has issued similar complaints against high school productions of ''Godspell,'' ''Jesus Christ Superstar,'' etc.
