Just for the record, there is no separation of church and state in the US Constitution. Also, the 1st Amendment (and the Constitution itself) is meant to define and limit the reach of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT and protect the people from an out of control, all-encompassing, all consuming federal government. I would argue that if the people at that school want to put on a production of COE, or GODSPELL, or JCS or any other show with biblical themes, it is the people's right to do so WITHOUT government interference. THAT is what the 1st Amendment is supposed to be protecting.
