Yes, Sutton was in great voice and gave us a magnificent 90-minute show. Her selections were interesting and, sometimes, unexpected. Her song list follows:

Medley of "Everybody Says Don't" (Sondheim) and "Yes" (Kander/Ebb) with a short intro of "Cockeyed Optimist" (Rodgers/Hammerstein)

"They Say It's Spring" (Bob Haymes/Marty Clarke)

"That Smile" (John Buchino's IT's ONLY LIFE)

"I Get A Kick Out of You" (Cole Porter's ANYTHING GOES)

"Don't Look at Me That Way" (Cole Porter's PARIS)

"C'est Magnifique" (Cole Porter's CAN-CAN)

"Give Him the Ooh-La-La" (Cole Porter's DuBARRY WAS A LADY)

"Lay Down Your Head" (Jeanine Tesori & Brian Crawley's VIOLET)

"It All Fades Away" (Jason Robert Brown's BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY)

Medley - "Ain't Misbehavin'" (Fats Waller/Harry Brooks) and "I Was a Little Too Lonely" (Jay Livingston/Ray Evans)

Medley - "I Got Love" (Gary Geld & Peter Udell's PURLIE) and "Gimme Gimme" (Jeanine Tesori/Dick Scanlan's THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE) w/ (can't remember the young woman's name who sang with her)

"Twenty Seven" (specialty material by John Wallowitch & Mark Waldrop)

Medley: "If I Were a Bell" (Loesser) and "Singin' in the Rain" (Nacio Herb Brown/Arthur Freed)

"Room" (Shaina Taub)

"Stars and the Moon" (Jason Robert Brown's SONG FOR A NEW WORLD)

Medley: "Old Friends" / "Bookends" (Paul Simon) with Megan McGinnis

Medley: "A Quiet Thing" (Kander/Ebb) and "Hush Little Baby" (traditional) with Megan McGinnis

"Sunshine On My Shoulders" (John Denver/Mike Taylor/Dick Kniss)

Medley: snippet of "Cockeyed Optimist" into "I'm On My Way" (traditional) and "On My Way" (Jeanine Tesori & Brian Crawley's VIOLET)

Encores:

"Take Me To the World" (Sondheim's EVENING PRIMROSE)

"Starting Here, Starting Now" (David Shire/Richard Maltby)

"On My Way to You" (Michel Legrand/Alan & Marilyn Bergman)
