I saw "Here's Where I Belong" at one of final previews. I was attending NYU School of the Arts (now Tisch). We got comp tickets to many of the shows that faculty were involved in and Ming Cho Lee was on the design faculty. His sets for "Here's Where.." were, as usual, stunning and the tree that plays a role in the core imagery of the book and musical adaptation was literally a show-stopper. At the intermission, one of the design students ran up to Mr. Lee and said, "Mr. Lee, your tree was magnificent. Can I have it when you are done with it... next week."
