I think it is not so much "superfan excitement" as it is super event excitement. It's a hot ticket and the audience is incredibly eager to enjoy it. I think Dolly has a similar, but smaller dose of the excitement that surrounded The Producers (which I disliked) and Hamilton (which I loved.) It's the place to be. To be clear, I am not comparing any of these shows on a creative level, merely the excitement and hype that surrounds them.
