According to ibdb.com , Kay Thompson was replaced by Vivian Vance in the pre-Broadway tryout of HOORAY FOR WHAT! at Boston's Colonial
A little ironic since the same thing would happen to Miss Vance a few decades later (also at the Colonial) when she was fired by Woody Allen
DON'T DRINK THE WATER and replaced by Kay Medford
Kay Thompson is listed as the vocal coach for HOORAY FOR WHAT!
One of her three Broadway credits. |
