| Sills supposedly made that comment when it was suggested that a Houston Grand Opera production of Regina that featured some NYCO singers be brought to NYCO. This was around the time she retired from singing and shortly after she had become general director of NYCO. So the question of whether it had a good role for her would not have been relevant to her comment. |
