| And, as Alan has noted in his very helpful list of REGINA productions, Sheryl Woods was Birdie again opposite Patti LuPone in 2005. Woods was superb still, I remember. Elisabeth Carron, the Birdie from the 1958 recording(and City Opera productions)also continued to perform the role for a very long time--and very well from the reports I read. |
