Yes, very Luhrmann-esque (did I just coin a phrase? LOL). I was also thinking of Gatsby but looked it up and that was Luhrmann too. So I'll throw in The Prestige. God, how I miss Barnum (except for Close's singing). Wish they'd revive that. Maybe the film will inspire that. Well, there's always the Crawford video. But that show needs to be seen in person.
