| Just being silly, but when I first saw TORCH SONG, my immediate thought was "Are they going to make a Broadway show of Crawford's great diva movie," in which she, somewhat unbelievably, played a musical-comedy star (lip-syncing to India Adams, IIRC)?" Of course, I then recalled that Urie had been scheduled to do the Fierstein play. But he might make a superb Jenny Stewart, though I'd advising not doing the sepia-face Crawford wore in the "Two-Faced Woman" number! |
