| short version ; Mermaniac runs into Mrs Sills, an old acquaintance; They Chat, and just before parting, he asks when will NYC opera do Regina again?;She replies, Never. There's no there there. I could be considered and autodidact(is that the correct word) on musicals,( even tho I can't read music), but Opera?no.It wasn't until 13 years after I saw TOSCA, that I realized I had seen it with Birgit Nielson( A Met tour in Boston). |
