Did we see the same production? Because, to me, Rudetsky was embarrassingly amateurish. An already long evening felt even more endless.
That said, Arnold has certainly been played by a variety of actors who are nothing like Harvey, from Antony Sher in the West End to Brandon Uranowitz recently in Washington, DC. It's hardly a role that is inextricably linked to its creator. |
