Using IBDB as fact checker, didn't GYPSY run eight months with Tyne, then nine months with Lavin and then another three months with Tyne? I wouldn't call doubling it run "kind of [dying]".
And anyway, no production of GYPSY has ever had a terribly long run. The original was longest (at 701) and then you go to 581 (Daly/Lavin), 451 (Peters), 332 (LuPone) and 120 (Lansbury). |
