| I am sure that I will see this just given the breadth and scope of Prince's work. But I find the casting to be somewhat strange. Some of the cast members are quite good in their own right but there isn't one A-level actor in the bunch. Wouldn't a great deal of A-list people be lining up to appear in this, including some of the very people who were cast in his shows? This show had a few hiccups before it was finally announced at MTC and I wonder if in casting calls and/or private run-throughs, it lost any possibility of stellar casting. |
