I checked the Broadway record out of the Library around the time> the family took our second trip to Boston-,the Common etc,- around that time(I was 10) . I remember looking over to the Marquee of the Colonial Theater(Merman Gypsy) and thinkin -if only, If only I hadn't been too lazy to get a paper route.
. Money was way too tight to even ask for a ticket, Tho I did see my first show the next year-The Nat'l company of the MUSIC MAN .it was a gift from my godmother.
