Yes I 100% think that Michael Crawford is better in the movie than Gavin Creel (whom I love) is in the revival. I think both are very good, but Crawford brings so much more to it, where Creel is giving a pretty standard performance.
And I think Simard's role in the stage show is different enough that the role in the movie that they are not worth comparing. |
