| I've never seen the film. I do have the soundtrack, enjoying it with the mixed feelings many have commented on. What I don't understand is, considering all the objections here and elsewhere to the way the film was produced and, yes, specifically how it was directed, why you think that the subsitution of Reynolds for Streisand, with Kelly still at the helm, would have made it "kind of wonderful?" Is Streisand the sole reason the film is bad? |
