As far as vacation, how long would you be able to go working evenings without taking any time off? No vacation plans? Family obligations?
How often do you go a year's stretch while being at full physical strength, able to sing full voice, dance, etc. Performing is a demanding job and, in this case, Ms. Midler scheduled her time off far enough in advance for both her employer and the audience to plan around it. I hope she enjoys whatever she is doing. |
