| I just have trouble seeing Day as Dolly in my head. Her screen persona doesn't seem right for Dolly. Is there a film where she played a similar role that you can recommend? I realize, of course, that she was an actress and probably could have played any number of things, but it may be that she wasn't considered (aside from the fact that she was retiring from film anyway) because Dolly isn't a sweet, All-American virgin. |
