The timing's suspicious. ''Feud'' wrapped airing in April. Her lawyers have had over two months to file a lawsuit.
So they announce this suit only days after the voting deadline for Emmy nominations is over (so it doesn't hurt ''Feud'').
But before the Emmy nominations come out, where ''Feud'' is expected to dominate. To me, it looks like DeHavilland's lawyers want Murphy and FX to cough up some money to make this lawsuit go away, so any possible bad P.R. doesn't hurt ''Feud'' from winning any awards. |
