You provide no actual details about how and when the decision was made--and whether there or not was an agreement to hold the announcement for some reason (which may have been at the request of someone in the production), it's really foolish of you to draw this conclusion until you actually know something to be true.
As someone who represents yourself as working in the business, you should no better. Things actually are finally decided at the last minute, announcements often are held because someone essential asks that they be held. |
