BroadwayTonyJ, that's a fascinating anecdote. I went to YouTube hoping to find the actual clip, but had no success.
However, I turned up a 1964 episode of ''The Match Game,'' hosted by Gene Rayburn, and featuring Joan Fontaine.
Rayburn asked the women on their all-star panel to name ''something that might turn out to be a lemon.''
Betty White and Peggy Cass (a Tony winner for ''Auntie Mame'') each said: ''A car.'' ... And Fontaine said: ''A lime.''
