Laura, thanks for your wonderful report about seeing ''1776'' with its Tony-winning director Peter Hunt.
A couple years ago, Home Theater Forum did an audio interview with Hunt about ''1776's'' film restorations.
Hunt recalled how President Nixon asked Warner to drop ''Cool, Cool Considerate Men'' from the movie.
On his deathbed, Warner was asked if he had any regrets, and reportedly said listening to that ''idiot Dick Nixon.''
