| I watched that whole clip and it's funny but I remember viewing the Match Game that entire week when Fontaine was a guest panelist. However, I can't really imagine her saying the remark I mentioned in my previous post on that kind of show, although it is possible. I'm afraid my memory may be conflating two different TV appearances. I do remember Fontaine talking about her early career in Hollywood. She said back then that she lost one of her husbands to another woman. Then after being asked the question about a possible future romance, she said that she was afraid she might lose a future beau to another man. The host most likely was not Rayburn and the show might have been a local one in Chicago -- I think it's possible she was appearing at the time on stage somewhere in Chicago. |
