| why are you ignoring the fact that the 2 people affected by this news have both tweeted about it, thus mooting the hypotheticals you mention? At this point the producer indeed has bungled the PR. And your "defense" is just bizarre: of course a producer can control the narrative (including insisting that a "celebrity" stick to exact wording on social media or not post at all; it's done all the time). And of course something harmful has happened. |
