I think ryhog has said everything there is to be said, so I'll just offer a small ammendment:
Your misreading of my intent did point out to me that I made an error of wording, which is that I wrote that the Kagans announced this a few days prior to Oak's planned arrival in the show. In point of fact, they did not make an announcement at all. Oak and Dave Mallow broke the news on Twitter, and the show itself offered no comment.
As you point out, shows offer all kinds of bogus explanations to put a good face on bad news. I would have expected something along those lines here. Instead, we got nothing. That strikes me as bad producing. |
