I had confused the great Comet with(, excuse me while I mangle the title, something like Chekov, Natasha and Spike.) But when I arrived in NYC and saw the outside of the theater the billboards, reviews etc, and realized it starred Josh Groban, I gave away my Thurs Golden Apple, bought a Thurs great Comet ticket and a Sun eve ticket for Apple; So I saw Dolly and Golden Apple back to back :And
except for one play which seemed derivative ,and a trip to the ER(I missed Glass Menagerie) It was glorious theater binge, but I don't know if I would have scrambled my plans for a play sans Groban, whose bway cd I Had only recently 'discovered'. |
