#1 The dubbing singers did a great job in not just syncing, but making their voice sound appropriate to the actor they are dubbing for.
#2 Interesting how few men were deemed to need dubbing. I recognize that many of these movies have only one or two songs that are sung by women. So the opportunities for dubbing by men are limited. But it seems that male voices that crack, are thin, and don't necessarily hit all the notes perfectly are recorded and shown without dubbing. Three non-singers who aren't dubbed in movies are Donald O'Conner and Gene Kelly in Singin' in the Rain, and all of Fred Astaire's singing.
