| Interesting to consider Catherine as an unreliable narrator, but, for me, it does a disservice to the structure. We're waiting through the whole tale to finally find out about Sebastian and why Violet wants the story suppressed. Why then, after all the build-up, undercut the "truth-serum" narrative? |
