I saw this and laughed. Actors have no obligation to chat with fans although, I had a lovely conversation with Angela Lansbury and Marian Seldes after Deuce that was the highlight of my year. When I was young I loved Children Of A Lesser God so much I had to speak to the cast about the show, so I meet John Rubinstein at the stage door, had a chat and got invited to come in to speak with Phyllis Frelich at a table set up in the basement of the Longacre. I've had some wonderful experiences and some not so wonderful ... Daniel Radcliffe jumping out of the bathroom window to escape fans after a performance of Equus in London. Wait for it.... than getting into a pink cab! Well, he did go full monty and I was in the third row!

Ben should do what Carol Channing did in 1994; have the stage door collect the first few programs from fans and have him sign them in his dressing room. If people arrive late they're out of luck, next time.

What is happening here could turn in to bad publicity and this show, so well loved by everyone does, not deserve that. He, who shall remain nameless, will probably have it in print this week.
